About Jennifer

I am an associate solicitor in the commercial property team.

I deal with a broad range of commercial property transactions including handling disposals and acquisitions, secured lending work, and landlord and tenant matters (acting for both landlords and tenants).

Our clients vary from individual business owners to property investors, trustees, charities, lenders, developers and other businesses.

I have dealt with leases, acquisitions and disposals involving bare land, retail shops, pub and restaurant premises, industrial premises, offices and office buildings and other commercial properties. I also have experience with matters where there are more complex title issues, often involving unregistered land. It is important to me to build a good working relationship with our clients and find out about them and their business. This also helps to better understand their needs and be in the best position to provide tailored advice which is commercial and sensible.

I first joined Moore Blatch in 2007 as a Probate Manager and completed my training contract here in September 2012. I joined the firm’s Dispute Resolution team for three years post-qualification.  Most of my work involved property disputes. I moved to non-contentious Commercial Property work and spent several years in other firms before re-joining the firm in April 2022. I live in Southampton with my husband and two cats. I have more interests outside work than I have time for including reading, drawing, painting, playing the guitar and violin, and gardening. My more strenuous pursuits include tennis and swimming and my latest endeavour is learning dingy sailing.
