About Kate
I am a Solicitor based in Moore Barlow’s Richmond office in the family team.
I have experience with cases involving divorce, high net worth financial remedy, jurisdiction disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements. The cases have often involved trusts, inherited wealth and international elements. I have supported clients through difficult issues such as non-molestation and occupation orders. I have also worked on complex children matters, which include arrangements for children, enforcement of child arrangement orders, parental child abduction, and relocation cases.
Prior to joining the firm, I completed my training contract at a firm in central Manchester, where I gained experience in a Tier 1 ranked family team. I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024, and relocated to London in October 2024. I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019 with a 2:1 degree in Law (International), which included an exchange year at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. I also achieved a Distinction in the LPC and LLM at the University of Law in Manchester.
I am a member of Resolution, and I am committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational way outside of Court that prioritises the best interests of the children and family members involved. However, where Court proceedings are necessary to resolve disputes, I am experienced in preparing cases for Court and attending hearings across the UK.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new countries and cultures. I also enjoy hiking and attending gigs and concerts.
