Career development
We take pride in the number of people who have moved up the career ladder with us.
Success is not just based on legal ability, although it is essential, we also expect our people to have people skills, including client focus, openness, a positive approach, commitment and an enthusiasm to learn.
Our people are actively encouraged and supported to progress, including solicitors looking to progress through their partnership structure. We reward people based on performance and merit, not years served. We recognise those who work hard and make a real contribution. We follow the progress of our people closely and give them the support to help them move toward their future goal.
In addition to our legal people – including solicitors, legal executives and paralegals – we have a large and very important team of people in critical support roles. Both role types are equally important to us and the delivery of our services to clients’.
