About Beccy
As a Senior property executive with over 25 years in the legal sector and in excess of 20 years experience dealing with property transactions, I provide advice and support to clients looking to sell, purchase or lease property or land.
I have a particular interest in listed buildings and unregistered land and the complexities these can bring. I am motivated to provide the best outcome for my clients whilst getting to know and understand their requirements. I focus on building long term working relationships with clients and their agents.
I began my legal career in 1999 as a secretary whilst undertaking my CILEx exams beginning the same year. I have remained a member of CILEx ever since. Having dealt with commercial property and licencing up until 2003, I proceeded then, to run my own caseload of residential property sales and purchases (both freehold and leasehold) and remortgage transactions. Having worked in Derbyshire for some 7 years I gained experience of unregistered land and some more unusual elements of property law such as mining leases, planning restrictions and listed buildings. Since moving back to my home county of West Sussex, I continued to deal with property law.
When not at work, I enjoy being out in the Great British countryside either walking on the South Downs with the dog, running, horse riding or clay pigeon shooting. I also love being out on the water, sailing or paddleboarding.
I am keen to “support local” and have previously volunteered for our local environmental group and organic farm centre.
