About Elysia
I am a Trainee solicitor completing my first seat within the Personal injury team in our Gateway office in Southampton.
Between 2020-2023, I completed my LLB at Southampton Solent university. I received a first overall, with a grade average of 86%. I was also awarded the Mark Wing memorial award for extracurricular work for the student body .
While in my undergraduate degree, I created SLAMS (Solent Law Achievement Mentoring Scheme) which partnered first year students with second and third-year students for academic mentoring and communication. I created Solent’s law society and was the events manager and vice-president. I was also the business, law and digital technologies faculty representative for the duration of my undergraduate degree.
In 2024, I completed my LPC and LLM with BPP university, where I obtained a distinction overall. I achieved a grade average of 82%.
While undertaking my Masters of Law in Legal practice, I also launched a legal news website to continually improve my commercial awareness, while also volunteering in the courts of Southampton.
I was an administration assistant in the Corporate and Commercial teams from September 2024 to March 2025. In this role I supported colleagues with opening and closing client files and assisting with general administration tasks. In this role I helped to organise the team Christmas secret Santa and the Corporate vs Family human bingo internal networking event.
Outside of work I enjoy doing anything artistic or creative. I particularly enjoy sewing my own clothes and accessories, crocheting, embroidery and jewellery making. It has provided me with a peaceful and rewarding hobby which allows me to switch off and create something meaningful at the end.

- I am an administration assistant for the South Hampshire Junior Lawyers Division.
Awards
- In 2022 I was awarded with Solent university’s student union’s volunteer student officer of the year.
- In 2021, I was awarded with Solent university’s student union’s education award.
