Meet our expert lawyers who are dedicated in making life better for our clients.
I specialise in community care and mental capacity matters. I advise clients on all aspects of community care and best interest decisions.
I act for a variety of clients in securing the right package of care for people who, without assistance, struggle with daily living. Many will be looking to challenge cuts to personal budgets made by local authorities or variations to care and support plans that reduce the level of care they receive.
Other clients are looking to challenge non-eligibility decisions made by the NHS in the application of continuing healthcare funding. I advise, assist and represent clients throughout this process and act for families applying for this funding for the first time.
I also represent clients who lack capacity to make decisions for themselves. In many cases, vital health and welfare decisions have to be made and I will be instructed to act for family members in best interest meetings or at the court of protection.
In all cases, I ensure that my clients’ voices are heard whilst providing clear advice and guidance surrounding this complex and often misunderstood area of law.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two young daughters who keep me on my toes! I have a passion for all things film and host a semi-regular podcast on computer games.

Don’t take our word for it…
Nicholas was flexible enough to take on board the ideas and knowledge of others, whilst still maintaining a clear and authoritative “direction of travel” for the case. Abundant specialist knowledge and firm, meaningful advice at the critical stages. Very sharp analysis of case material and effective communication with client. Highly competent.

Nicholas Endean is very knowledgeable in community care issues, caring, and an excellent communicator.

Nicholas Endean is extremely knowledgeable, with proven experience in previous cases. He was thorough, well prepared, supportive and – during a virtual assessment meeting held during lockdown – was well able to guide me and to ensure the points of our case were brought to the discussion.

We felt that you did an excellent job of presenting our arguments in the meeting, and were very pleased that they were received in such a way that they felt the need review there decisions outside of the meeting.
I was very impressed by his knowledge and preparation in the field of benefits, DRE, Social Services’ policy etc. I rarely meet someone (even in law/ social care fields) to whom I did not have to explain what DRE is.
