About Sarah

I lead the Moore Barlow medical negligence team at Moore Barlow.  I have been qualified as a solicitor for more than 30 years and have specialised in medical negligence and personal injury throughout that time.

I now practise exclusively in the field of medical negligence from our Richmond office. My clients are based throughout the country, and I am happy to see clients at home, in one of our other offices in Surrey, Hampshire and London or at another suitable venue. I also act as a Court of Protection Deputy for clients who have received a substantial sum of damages.

My cases involve injuries of maximum severity and include brain injuries acquired at birth or as a result of infection. I also have an interest in cases arising from complex surgery, delayed diagnosis of cauda equina syndrome and delayed diagnosis of cancer. In 2024 I recovered over £35,000,000 in compensation for clients whose life changing injuries were sustained as a result of sub-standard medical treatment.

My role is to guide clients through the litigation process which can be complex and lengthy, and to maximise compensation. Clients who have sustained serious injuries often cannot work and need care and therapies in the future.

My experience is that clients seeking redress for clinical negligence are often looking for much more than compensation and often want answers and to ensure that medical mistakes do not happen again.
