I practice in the land development team and work with some of the country’s leading national and regional house builders.
Having first qualified as a chartered surveyor, I know land development inside out meaning clients benefit from my excellent understanding of the development process from the initial identification of land opportunities (which I refer to clients to whenever I can), drafting and negotiating the contract documents, obtaining planning permission through to disposal by plot sales or perhaps trading the site. Having an invaluable insight into my clients’ needs enables me to anticipate potential issues or delays and deal with them quickly.
My clients receive clarity and decisiveness in helping sort out legal issues that could derail a deal, such as boundary disputes or restrictive covenants. When problems arise, I provide solutions.
As a partner in the firm I am personally involved in all aspects of the work and am able to pick up the phone and provide well-informed advice without delay and help to give my clients a competitive edge in a challenging market.
