About Vicky
I am a consultant in the firm’s medical negligence team, specialising in supporting clients who have complex, high-value claims due to negligence in medicine and surgery.
I have a specialist interest in neo-natal deaths/injury, spinal cord injury, diabetic claims, orthopaedic claims and sight loss claims. I am experienced with acting for those who suffer serious injury or bereavement as a result of an incident on Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB).
I provide clients with guidance, support and reassurance during what can be a very challenging time. It is important that clients know how the law can help them get appropriate compensation to secure their future and ensure that lessons are learned.
With over 30 years as a practising solicitor, my clients have the reassurance of knowing that I fully utilise all my legal skills and considerable experience to help them achieve the best possible outcome. I work closely with clients at all stages of the process, and make sure they understand what is involved and how the claim is being pursued.
I also have extensive experience as an advocate representing families at inquests in both medical negligence claims and after trauma accidents. I have been involved in high profile inquests dealing with systemic failings by Health Trusts and Ambulance Trusts in providing care for women during labour and delivery. I have also been featured in the media (both press and broadcasts including the BBC).
