About Laura
I am a senior associate in the family team in Guildford.
I advise clients in relation to a range of family law issues, including divorce, financial matters, arrangements for children, child abduction, domestic abuse and injunctions.
Like the other members of the Moore Barlow family team, and as a member of Resolution, I am committed to helping clients resolve matters in as constructive and conciliatory a manner as possible. I endeavour to provide clients with advice that is both practical and empathetic, whether within voluntary proceedings, dispute resolution forums, or in court.
I have experience of financial cases with complex features, including where there are issues in relation to properties and land, and where inheritance has significantly affected the parties’ financial positions.
I advise clients in relation to arrangements for children. This includes resolving disputes as to with whom the children spend time on a day-to-day basis, with whom they live, and applications to relocate within England and Wales.
I also advise clients in respect of international child abduction matters, where one parent has removed the child(ren) from their country of habitual residence, and the other parent seeks their return (often pursuant to the Hague Convention, though not always).
