- Commercial property law
- Residential property law
My role is chair of the real estate division at Moore Barlow.
I have practised in property law, both commercial and residential, for more than 30 years, acting for a wide range of clients, from property investors, developers and banks to owner occupiers and private landowners. These days most of my work is in the commercial property field, dealing with leases, freehold acquisitions and disposals, and general commercial and residential property development, acting both for developers and landowners seeking to maximise the value of their property. My approach is to get to know my clients and what is important to them, and then help them achieve their goals in a practical and pragmatic way, always looking for solutions rather than problems.
I qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and have held various management roles over the years, including being the Executive Partner and Chairman of Barlow Robbins (Moore Blatch & Barlow Robbins merged, May 2020) for 10 years. Currently, I sit on the Moore Barlow Executive Board and also head up the Risk and Compliance team as the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice.
