About Monic
I am a Paralegal within the Financial services litigation department working within the Lender sales team, I advise Banks and Lenders. Additionally I advise receivers appointed on various aspects of property transactions following their appointments. I also advise on borrowers’ applications that affect the security following completion of a loan, such as leases, transfers of equity or sales of part.
Before studying law at university I completed a number of placements within various law firms. This cemented my wish to pursue a career in law.
I then went on to study LLB Law at the University of Winchester where I achieved my bachelor of Laws. After graduating I immediately went on to practice law within the Mental health sector also as a Paralegal. I gained invaluable experience on advising clients in a way in which is plain speaking. I then began working here at Moore Barlow in 2024 in my current position.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and going out with my friends. I especially enjoy travelling around the world and seeing new places.
During lockdown I developed a passion for baking and cooking, I love to watch Great British bake Off to see if I can recreate the baked goods, this is now one of my favourite hobbies.
In addition to this, I enjoy hiking and running, aiming to complete 12 peaks within 12 months of 2025!
