About Sarah
My client base is focussed on acting for landed estates, farms, vineyards, equestrian businesses and landowners, and supporting them with all the nuances of rural property ownership. This includes general property advisory and transactional work, rural asset management support, succession planning with families passing land to the next generation and strategic advisory work with other professional advisers to help realise future plans and goals. My aim is to be your trusted legal adviser for all your legal needs, and to support you, your families, your businesses and your other professional advisers in the long term. I find I regularly work very closely with my clients’ accountants, land agents and bankers to ensure a streamlined and strategic advisory approach.
I am a real estate lawyer by background with twenty years’ experience in the rural sector. I run a Rural Property team of lawyers dedicated to providing a team focussed personal, efficient and sector invested legal support to our clients. I also head our Rural Services sector team at Moore Barlow, which encompasses a team of approximately twenty lawyers across our firm advising on rural related matters. I am confident that we can handle the majority of enquiries we receive, and if not we know who in the sector to refer you to as we are widely involved in our local and national rural communities with connections to many other professional advisers.
I have been individually listed by Chambers and Legal 500 since 2014, and in more recent years by Spears, as a leading individual in the Agriculture and Estates sector. Our Rural Services team is now a leading band 1 and tier 1 team in Chambers and Legal 500 reflective of our dedication to the Agriculture and Landed Estates sector, and our ability to service its legal needs.
Outside of work you will find me out and about in the sector I work for, enjoying an outdoor lifestyle involving horses, dogs, children and the South Downs National Park when not at my desk!
