About Nicola
I am a Senior associate in the Court of protection department, specialising in the management of property and affairs arising from deputyships. I deal with all aspects of property and affairs work, including deputyship applications, statutory wills and gifts.
Having previously worked closely with a court of protection panel deputy, I have experience of a wide range of issues affecting elderly and vulnerable people, specifically related to their mental capacity and the practical implications associated with this. Currently, many of my clients have suffered serious personal injury or clinical negligence which has unfortunately left them with brain injuries or other life changing conditions. As a result, I work closely with our clients and their families to support them in managing their property and financial affairs. My role involves liaising with litigators, case managers, therapists and support workers, all of whom are acting in the best interests of our client, which is so important.
Outside of work, I am a busy mum to twin boys and when time permits, I love to run, cycle and play tennis.
