I help businesses manage the relationship with their employees to maintain a happy and productive workforce. I assist them on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. I have experience of drafting contracts of employment and secondment agreements, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, and reviewing and drafting employment policies, procedures and handbooks. I have worked on litigation cases in both the Employment Tribunal and High Court.
I also advise individuals on their rights during employment, such as raising a grievance and responding to allegations of misconduct or poor performance and individuals who are invited to enter into statutory settlement agreements by their employers.
I studied law and French at the University of Leeds, including a year studying in France. I joined Moore Barlow LLP (formerly Barlow Robbins LLP) as a trainee and prior to this I worked at the Office of Fair Trading and the European Court of Human Rights.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.
Outside of work I enjoy playing sports, sewing and spending time outdoors with my children, especially on the beach.
