Moore Barlow has once again been recognised as a leading UK law firm in the latest edition of the Legal 500 directory. In the 2027 rankings, 10 of our practice areas achieved Tier 1 status, with a further 19 ranked across Tiers 2, 3 and 4. Notably, our Debt Recovery team moved up to Tier 1, reflecting the continued strength and reputation of the practice.

These results demonstrate the breadth of expertise across the firm and our ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding legal advice and support to clients across the South East, London and beyond.

About Legal 500

Legal 500 is one of the UK’s most respected legal directories. Its rankings are based on extensive independent research, including feedback from clients, peers and legal professionals, providing a trusted benchmark of law firm expertise and individual lawyer performance.

Individual recognition

This year, 34 of our lawyers were recognised for their expertise and contribution to their respective practice areas. Among them:

  • 3 recognised in the Hall of Fame
  • 18 named as Leading Partners
  • 6 recognised as Next Generation Partners
  • 7 recognised as Leading Associates

Several lawyers also achieved new or enhanced individual rankings this year. Erin Lyon was recognised as a Next Generation Partner for the first time, while Sarah Crookall also secured a new Next Generation Partner ranking. Emily Taylor Edwards, Emma Butcher and Rachel Hetherington each achieved new Leading Associate rankings, and Susannah Marsh was promoted from Next Generation Partner to Leading Partner.

For the fourth consecutive year, Damian Horan has been named in the prestigious Hall of Fame for Personal Injury. David Ludlow and Karen Barham also retained their Hall of Fame status, recognising their sustained excellence and standing within the profession.
