Standing up for you, if you feel you are being discriminated against or not receiving your legal entitlements at work
- There are laws to protect you from discrimination at work, ensure you receive equal pay and are given the leave you are entitled to when you have a family.
- If you believe your employer is discriminating against you or not giving you the pay, employment terms or leave you should be receiving, you should take legal advice.
- We will discuss and assess your situation, and help ensure you are treated fairly at work.
We all want fairness in our lives, and at work that means equal pay, the leave you’re entitled to when you have a family, and the right not to be discriminated against.
The Equality Act 2010 was passed to ensure that gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race or religion should not be used to pay people differently for doing the same job, or to treat people less favourably.
Most employers comply with these laws, but if you think yours has not, then you should contact us as soon as possible. We’ll listen and discuss your situation, give you advice on your legal rights and negotiate with your employer on your behalf. If it’s necessary, we can represent you in the tribunal to make sure you have the fair treatment you deserve.
We have offices in London, Southampton, Richmond, Guildford, Lymington and Woking and offer specialist support to clients nationwide. Contact us for more information.
