Moore Barlow has been instructed to represent the families of those affected by this devastating incident, including the family of Ali and Mahmood, who continue to seek answers and accountability.
We are supporting the families in their pursuit of justice and – not only for the loss and trauma they have endured, but also to ensure that future incidents are properly investigated and claims involving fatalities are dealt with without delay.
This matter is being led by Trevor Sterling, Senior partner at Moore Barlow and a leading specialist in high-profile injury and fatality claims. He is joined by Amandeep Khasriya, Consultant solicitor, and Antonia Elsom, who are working closely with the families to provide both legal expertise and compassionate support.
The incident has raised serious concerns about road safety, pedestrianised areas, and investigation procedures when someone has tragically lost their life. We will continue to advocate on their behalf and engage with the relevant authorities to ensure that their voices are heard.

”No parent should ever have to bury their child and events where they do we have to have a process which is a speedy one. Last year I was in touch with the mayor Sir Sadiq Khan and he supported the notion that there should be an expedited process when dealing with these types of events. It’s incredibly important that we can get to the answers without delay – delay is the enemy of justice.”
