Moore Barlow has advised regional fire safety and security firm New Path Fire and Security on the acquisition of Kent-based Electrifire Limited for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Southampton, New Path Fire and Security has grown significantly in recent years into a thriving group of fire safety and security companies across the Southern UK region.
The group covers all aspects of fire safety, including the installation, maintenance and servicing of fire alarms, fire doors, fire stopping, extinguishers and emergency lighting, in addition to security solutions through CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and door entry systems.
Electrifire Limited will provide New Path Fire and Security with additional capacity and capability through its team and geographic reach.
The transaction was led by Kirsty Leary, partner in the corporate team at Moore Barlow, with assistance from Isabelle Balch. The latest acquisition saw New Path utilise a 30-year financing deal with royalty finance provider Duke Royalty that Moore Barlow’s corporate team helped secure in 2022 to enable New Path Fire and Security to continue to pursue an ambitious buy-and-build growth strategy.
