Top deals of 2024
Darwin & Wallace acquisition
We acted for the London-based bar-restaurant group Darwin & Wallace in its acquisition by The Portobello Pub Company. This deal showcases our deep understanding of the hospitality sector and our ability to facilitate smooth transactions in this dynamic industry.
Excalibur Communications Group sale
Our team advised the selling shareholders of Excalibur Communications Group, a leading IT and communications provider, on its sale to LDC-backed Onecom Group. Team growth and achievements
In 2024, we were also thrilled to welcome Avneet Dosanjh, a newly qualified solicitor and former Moore Barlow trainee, to the team, and Aneesh Banerjee, a paralegal who joined us in early 2025. Additionally, we are proud to announce the promotions of Jack Courtney to Associate and Zach Burnham to Senior Paralegal, both of whom have played a key role in our continued success.

Typically handling deals in the range of £1m to £50m, we’ve focused on delivering exceptional service by building strong relationships with clients, accountants, banks, and other industry referrers.
Looking ahead to 2025
As we look to the year ahead, the team is optimistic about the strong deal pipeline for 2025. We’re already seeing exciting opportunities for the first and second quarters of the year, particularly with several highly acquisitive clients. Despite broader market challenges, the UK continues to be an attractive market for international investors, particularly from the US and other overseas buyers.
