M&A activity – 2022 in review

For our clients, the Moore Barlow corporate team completed a strong period of deal making in 2022 despite economic headwinds creating a challenging environment for M&A activity across the UK economy.

During 2022, the corporate team completed deals worth a combined value of £777 million, equating to an average of almost two transactions a week. This supported dozens of our clients in achieving their strategic business goals. We are proud that we could be their trusted legal partner, offering them intimate understanding of the sectors and markets in which they operate, whilst being as committed as they are to get the deal over the line.
