Start your legal career with us. At Moore Barlow, apprenticeships are a chance to start building a career in law while gaining real-world experience.
Whether you want to qualify as a solicitor or develop skills in business support, you’ll learn on the job, study towards recognised qualifications and become part of a firm that invests in its people.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues from the start, taking on meaningful tasks that help you grow your confidence and skills. We’ll give you the structure and support you need, from clear training plans to time for study, so you can balance learning with day-to-day work. And because you’re part of the team from day one, you’ll get early exposure to clients, real responsibility and a sense of how the law operates in practice.
Our aim is to help you build a long-term career here. As you progress, you’ll have space to explore different areas of work, understand what you enjoy and shape your own path. Throughout, you’ll be supported by people who want you to succeed and a firm that believes in developing talent from within.

- Work-life balance, with a 35-hour week (including six protected study hours per week), hybrid working and wellbeing support from day one.
- Vital on the job experience, that builds your skills and broadens your options, both within and outside the legal profession.
The types of apprenticeships we offer
Our programmes are designed to suit different career goals:
- Solicitor apprenticeships – a six-year programme combining paid work and study, leading to qualification as a solicitor.
- Paralegal apprenticeships – focused training and experience to develop strong legal knowledge and practical skills.
