About Jennifer
As Head of People Operations & Reward at Moore Barlow, I lead and oversee various projects, our reward cycles, and the day-to-day operations of the People function; ensuring we have efficient processes, consistent service standards and provide operational excellence. I make sure our people practices are compliant, in line with our values and promote a positive and inclusive culture.
I lead a team that consists of People Assistants and a People Operations Insights Analyst, guiding them to deliver high quality people operations including payroll, system and data management and all employee lifecycle processes. Together we are passionate about creating a truly positive people experience.
My career in focus
Since graduating from my university degree, I have built my career as an HR professional, working mainly within professional services firms, in particular financial services, and legal services. Early on in my career I was fortunate to receive sponsorship to study a level 7 qualification with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
During my career I have developed in areas such as reward and benefits, people operations, HRIS management, performance management, business partnering, people management, recruitment, employee relations, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, and leadership.
In my current role as Head of People Operations & Reward, I focus on creating a positive employee experience, ensuring we provide operational excellence and combine strategic thinking with practical, people-focused solutions.
As a member of the people leadership team, I support the delivery of our people strategy, ensure compliance across our people practices, and oversee the development of our policies and procedures that promote fairness, consistency and support our culture.
I am proud to have gained Chartered CIPD professional status through my extensive experience and dedication to the people profession.
What motivates me?
What motivates me in my role is the people and the culture. I’m proud to work for Moore Barlow as we truly live and breathe our values. I feel supported and trusted to lead and develop people practices that enable people to thrive, feel valued and recognised.
Outside of work
Outside of work, I love travelling the world to explore new places and learn about different cultures and cuisine. I also enjoy discovering new countryside walks with my husband and dog and keeping active with gym classes. I love to spend time with family and friends and have recently explored my creative side through floristry.
