About Siân
I am an Associate in the Family team at Moore Barlow, predominantly working in Southampton and Lymington.
Many of my clients are dealing with an overwhelming and life changing event, that requires a practical approach during a difficult time for them, together with care and understanding.
I pride myself on helping with navigation of the legal process, which can be daunting, and providing a practical and constructive approach with their best interests at heart.
I provide advice on all aspects of a family law, including financial and children matters. I have an interest in surrogacy arrangements and assist and advise parents during the fertility process or applying for a parental order.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy walking my two chocolate Labradors in the New Forest, finding quirky coffee shops along the way.
Experience
I deal with all areas of family law, particularly divorce and the associated financial matters. I have particular experience with:
- Complex assets such as: farms, businesses and high value properties
- Surrogacy arrangements, including parental orders
- Assets within multiple jurisdictions
- Relocation of children
- Children matters (private law)
- Schedule 1 Children Act applications
- Cohabitation agreements
- Cohabitee disputes and separation agreements
- Domestic abuse and injunctions
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
