About Isla
As a Paralegal in the Private Wealth team, I support clients and legal professionals in managing the legal aspects of wealth, including succession planning, trust administration, and asset protection.
With a strong attention to detail and a growing knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, I help ensure that processes run smoothly, documents are accurate, and clients receive clear, dependable guidance.
My work includes the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, estate administration, and the administration of trusts. I am passionate about helping clients pass on their wealth to their loved ones and navigating the complexities of law is extremely rewarding.
I studied law at the University of Exeter and have recently started my legal career here at Moore Barlow.
I am eager to further develop my legal skills and gain practical experience, with the goal of qualifying as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
Outside of work I enjoy going to my local gym and regularly attend yoga and pilates classes. I enjoy travelling and spending time with my friends and family.
Although I have only recently joined the firm, I have already enjoyed getting involved in a range of networking events.
