In response to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, I have taken the decision that the firm will suspend taking new instructions from all Russian and Belarussian clients (new and existing). This is effective immediately.
Whilst this decision has a commercial impact on the firm, I believe it is the right thing to do at this time.
The people of Russia and Belarus do deserve the right to access legal advice however there are still many avenues they can use to get such advice. So, whilst this action makes their ability to undertake legal tasks more difficult, I don’t believe we are creating an injustice by this action.
