Following its ongoing support for Hampshire-based Oakhaven Hospice, law firm Moore Barlow has announced that it has raised over £20,000 (£20,308) for the hospice’s work in the local community.
Oakhaven Hospice, with its dedicated team of specialist nurses, doctors, counsellors, and therapists, provides exceptional palliative and end of life care and support. They ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual, and social support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones, both in a home and hospice setting.
Over the years, Moore Barlow’s Lymington office, one of the firm’s six offices across the South of England, has supported Oakhaven Hospice by making donations, participating in the Oakhaven Business Club networking events and sharing its office spaces for events, such as the Light Up A Life event, which takes place every December.
We’re a very proud corporate partner of Oakhaven Hospice. They deliver wonderful work in the community, and it’s been a great pleasure to fundraise for them over the years. This year, we’re looking forward to hosting the August Business Club and Light up a Life VIP Reception in our boardroom.

It costs us £8 million every year to run our services with just an 11% contribution from the NHS. Without the generous support of our community, including business partnerships with supporters like Moore Barlow, we would not be able to support those with a life-limiting illness and their families throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside area.
