About David
I am a Partner in the Employment Law team for businesses and individuals.
I enjoy advising and representing a wide range of businesses, charities, schools and private individuals on the full range of employment law and related legal issues. I thrive in helping businesses resolve general issues in relation to Employment Law as well as boardroom and shareholder disputes and employee competition litigation. I have considerable experience in NHS Primary care employment and partnership disputes and also in Secondary care I advise consultants on their terms and conditions.
I have done a wide range of ‘employment’ related High Court, County Court, Employment Tribunal and Arbitration work since 1989 when I started my career in the entertainment sector.
I have been listed regularly in the main independent legal directories, namely Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 where I have been referred to as “practical and reasonable”, “well regarded” and a “solid practitioner” in recent years. I have been highlighted in Chambers & Partners as a ‘leading individual’ in the field of Employment Law. In 2025 & 2026 I was in the Hall of Fame by Legal 500 for the lawyers at the very top of the profession, widely known and respected by peers and clients for their longstanding involvement in market-leading work.
Outside of work I was a Governor of Woking 6th Form College for 10 years, a Trustee of Horsell Common Preservation Society for 8 years, a sometime Team manager for the Colts at Woking & Horsell Cricket Club. I enjoy classic cars being a member of the MG Car Club (MGB Register).

- Pensions (NHS, PCSPS, and discontinuance of private Defined Benefit Pension Scheme schemes)
