Innovative national law firm Moore Blatch has raised over £2,500 for the Child Brain Injury Trust after hosting a charity quiz night in support of their Be Seen, Not Hurt road safety campaign.
Moore Blatch, who is the Child Brain Injury Trust’s approved legal partner for the South East area, organised the event in partnership with other organisations in Southampton including Trethowans, Peartree House Rehabilitation Centre and Team Brain Injury.
Moore Blatch clients and members of the local community were invited to compete in a ‘Glow Day’ themed quiz night, hosted by Kevin Ashman from BBC2’s The Eggheads. The contestants competed for prizes donated by Moore Blatch and other benefactors, including a complimentary round of golf at the Southampton City Golf Club, a signed Southampton football club pennant and an afternoon tea for 4 at the Lime Wood Hotel.
As part of the ‘Glow Day’ theme, attendees were invited to dress up in bright colours in order to draw attention to CBIT’s Be Seen, Not Hurt campaign, which seeks to highlight the importance of road safety for young people in the UK.
The Child Brain Injury Trust supports families across the UK who have been affected by childhood acquired brain injury. The evening was a great success, raising ¬£2,500 to help fund CBIT’s safety campaign.
