About Lucy
I am a Trainee Solicitor, currently in my first seat in the Private Wealth Disputes team.
Prior to joining Moore Barlow, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree in English language and literature. My undergraduate dissertation focused on feminist sociolinguistics and was published in the University of Nottingham’s Innervate journal.
Following my English degree, I completed the MA Law conversion at the University of Law in Moorgate and subsequently the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE) with Barbri.
Throughout my studies, I was committed to widening access to legal support and volunteered for the University of Law Family advice line as well as Nucleus legal centre in Ealing. Both experiences allowed me to gain hands on experience in providing pro bono legal advice to members of the local community. These roles gave me valuable hands-on experience providing pro bono legal advice to members of the local community. Alongside work, I volunteer with IntoUniversity, where I mentor two A Level students embarking on their university journey.
Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family – usually eating, travelling, or trying out new places.
