About Lucy
As a Trainee Solicitor in Moore Barlow’s Commercial Dispute Resolution team, I am beginning my legal career with a strong academic foundation and a genuine enthusiasm for resolving commercial disputes.
I am committed to developing my skills while supporting clients and colleagues with diligence, professionalism and attention to detail.
I understand that commercial disputes can be challenging and disruptive for businesses. My aim is to contribute to a team that delivers clear, practical and commercially focused advice, helping clients navigate disputes with confidence. By working closely with experienced solicitors, I am developing the skills needed to provide effective and reliable support at every stage of the dispute resolution process.
In 2021, I joined Southampton Solent University and undertook an LLB Law degree. After three years of hard work, I graduated in 2024 with a first class degree.
In March 2024 as a result of partaking in a programme known as Inspire Law Global, I completed a Vacation scheme with Moore Barlow. I spent a week in the Financial Services Litigation team. This confirmed my respect and admiration I had for Moore Barlow and began my journey to becoming a Trainee.
As of March 2025, I have completed part of my SQE exams and am awaiting further results which will pave the final steps to qualification amongst completing my Training Contract.
I am approachable, proactive and eager to learn, and I am committed to contributing meaningfully to each matter while supporting the team in achieving the best possible outcome for clients.
I am the type of person who loves to try new things and so am constantly looking for something new to learn. I’ve acquired a few passions such as reading, travelling and ice skating.
I have great admiration for charities particularly supporting the likes of Cancer research and Alzheimer’s disease and so do what I can to fundraise and take part in event such as race for life.
