About Emma
I am a Partner and Team Leader of the serious injury team based in Guildford, Surrey.
Since qualification in 1999, my expertise has been focussed upon supporting my clients following serious and catastrophic injury. My clients are not just limited to the local area and I am quite happy to act for any injured person, who needs my help.
With many years of success, I represent both adults and children who have suffered complex and often life-changing injuries whether in a road traffic collision, accident at work or in a public place.
Securing early access to rehabilitation, financial support, and the right care and assistance is vital in most cases. Adopting a client focused approach, I work in close partnership with my clients and their families to identify their immediate needs and long-term goals, ensuring a tailored legal strategy that puts their best interests first.
I don’t shy away from difficult cases, where responsibility for the accident may not be straight forward. This can often be where I have to liaise with the police, Health & Safety Executive or there are numerous parties who may be involved.
My role is more than just being a solicitor, offering technical legal advice.
With compassion and understanding the unique challenges that injured clients and their families face, I can navigate them through the claims process to successful settlement with the aim of rebuilding their lives as much as possible.
I specialise in high-value and complex cases involving:
- Complex Orthopaedic injuries
- Head and brain injuries
- Amputations
- Spinal cord injuries
- Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) and Chronic pain conditions such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
- Fatal accident claims & inquest representation
I am also regularly instructed by clients who wish to transfer their serious injury claims from other law firms. I take pride in offering clear, compassionate, and strategic legal support—especially when clients feel their current solicitor isn’t meeting their expectations.

I am also involved with the training and development of our Division as well as acting as the Risk and Compliance Lead.
Outside work, as my children are now older (although still needing help!) I have found a new passion in yoga and continue to convince myself that early morning running, is still enjoyable. Gardening and cooking fill my weekends around the usual house cleaning – but nothing beats spending time with my family and friends.
