I am a senior solicitor specialising in helping clients with catastrophic injuries as a result of negligent medical care.
My clients are typically patients that have suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of medical negligence, provided either through the NHS or in private practice. I support clients through medical negligence claims, securing payments that can have an immense impact on their quality of life.
I have particular experience helping clients who have suffered eye and amputation injuries.
I am tenacious, proactive and diligent and get to the heart of a claim speedily, ensuring admissions of liability (and interim payments of damages) at the earliest possible opportunity. Numerous clients have reported seeing their quality of life improved immeasurably through the work I have done for them.
I have relationships with some of the leading charities working with victims of medical accidents including the RNIB and the Limbless Association.
A £120,000 settlement in a claim involving delayed diagnosis and treatment of HSE encephalitis
A £900,000 interim payment award at a contested application at the High Court for a young girl
A £1.5 million settlement for a lady who lost almost all her sight as a consequence of a delayed diagnosis of glaucoma
A £750,000 award for a lady who developed severe neuropathic leg pain, bowel and urological dysfunction and psychiatric injury as a consequence of delayed micro discectomy surgery for cauda equina syndrome
A £300,000 award for a man who suffered complete heart block, requiring the implantation of a permanent pacemaker, as a consequence of a negligently performed catheter ablation
A £300,000 award for an 88-year old Second World War veteran who suffered a leg amputation injury and urinary dysfunction as a consequence of a road traffic accident. The settlement was based on extensive expert evidence, and was negotiated and paid out before the first anniversary of the accident which meant that the Claimant was able to benefit from the award before he died at the age of 90. The case was publicised in the Evening Standard.
I am married with a young son. I enjoy travelling, reading and listening to music.
