About Sahil

I studied Law at the University of Leicester before qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and completing the LPC at London Metropolitan University. My LLM qualification focused on the differences between gay and heterosexual marriage.

I’ve always enjoyed Family Law and consider myself lucky to have a job I enjoy everyday. I recognise the sensitive and attentive approach needed when undertaking family matters. I aim to build a strong, supportive and professional relationship with all my clients. I have an expertise with same-sex cases ranging from representing a mother in a unique case involving a dispute over contact between her biological daughter and her gay ex-partner to representing a gay couple who sought parental responsibility for a non-biological child they looked after. I have also had specialist training and experience in advocacy at Court such as representing a client in relation to his child undergoing an irreversible medical procedure without his consent.

I love travelling and I’m a big foodie, the two hobbies seem to go hand in hand as I love trying new cuisines whenever and wherever I go on holiday. I also enjoy adrenaline fuelled activities having recently gone sky diving this year in aid of Daisy’s Dream, a charity that helps children in bereavement.
