About Emma
I am an Associate in the Employment team and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.
I provide advice to both employers of all sizes as well as individuals on a wide range of employment law matters. These include advising employers on managing HR issues such as conduct and performance issues within their workforce, redundancy procedures and exit packages as well as drafting contracts of employment and staff handbooks. I can also assist with defending employment tribunal claims that may be issued against an employer.
I also advise and support employees where they are experiencing issues at work and I can support them with grievances, advice on constructive dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims as well as negotiating an exit via a settlement agreement and pursuing an employment tribunal claim.
I studied philosophy at the University of Southampton before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the LPC at the College of Law in Guildford.
Outside of work I am usually busy looking after my two young children and going on trips and adventures to the local beaches or the New Forest.
