About Bethany
I am a Solicitor in the Private Wealth team based in our Guildford office and specialising in:
- Wills, tax and trusts
- Powers of attorney
- Probate and administration of estates
I assist clients with a variety of legal work relating to their personal affairs and planning for the future, including inheritance tax advice, will drafting and powers of attorney. I also help clients through difficult periods, providing advice following death, including obtaining grants of probate and administering estates. I am empathetic and benevolent and always strive to ensure that my clients receive a compassionate service in consideration of what they are going through.
Outside of work, I am the Chair of the Surrey Junior Lawyers Division for the 2023/24 term and sit as the Universities & colleges representative alongside this. I am keen to support the next generation of lawyers and help to bridge the gap between aspiring lawyers and junior lawyers and do so via this role, as well as assisting others through mentoring and networking.
I also enjoy running, taking ballet and contemporary classes, watching shows at the Royal Opera House (firm favourites being Swan Lake and the Nutcracker!) and spending time with my friends and family.
Clients have described me as ‘helpful’, ‘patient’ and ‘kind’, assisting them through difficult times and making such periods that little bit easier.
