About Alex

I am a solicitor in the firm’s private wealth disputes team based in our Guildford office. I advise clients in a number of disputes over a broad range of matters, including:

  • disputes over the validity of wills;
  • claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
  • property ownership disputes;
  • estate administration disputes; and
  • applications to remove executors, personal representatives and trustees.

Acting for both claimants and defendants, I work closely with clients to help facilitate a resolution to complex trust and probate disputes in an effective and efficient manner.

Prior to working with Moore Barlow, I attended the University of Birmingham and graduated with a degree in History. I subsequently undertook a Graduate Diploma in Law and worked as a paralegal at a large Dorset-based firm before joining Moore Barlow in 2021.

Outside of work, I am the Vice Chair of the Surrey Junior Lawyers Division which is a Law Society-affiliated organisation focused on supporting aspiring and junior lawyers in and around Surrey. In my free time, I enjoy trying to keep fit, cooking and horticulture (weather permitting).
