Contact our team

Our team of experienced lawyers provides a range of services to help protect and manage the assets of our elderly clients, including wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Our work closely with our clients to ensure their wishes are met and their loved ones are taken care of, providing peace of mind for all involved.

  • If you are planning for your own future, or your loved one’s future, putting in place legal safeguards can protect your wishes and give you peace of mind.
  • Making a lasting power of attorney (LPA) is an efficient method for you to ensure that your interests and wishes are followed should you no longer be able to make decisions yourself.
  • We also support elderly people who are experiencing issues regarding care.

We all face the prospect that there may come a time when we might not be able to manage our own affairs. Whether you are planning for your own future, or for the future of a loved one, it can be a daunting process.

Our specialist team can provide you with clear and practical advice , whether this is regarding your finances, care issues or arranging for your wishes to be followed using a lasting power of attorney (LPA) – all of which should reassure you that someone will take care of your legal and financial needs should you no longer be able to do so yourself.

Setting up a lasting power of attorney (LPA) to make decisions on your behalf

If a situation should arise where an application has to be made to the court because you no longer have capacity to make decisions yourself, and you do not have either an LPA or an enduring power of attorney in place, it could potentially lead to decisions being made that differ from what you would have wished.

To avoid this, we can help you put in place an LPA to ensure that your best interests are at the heart of any decisions made on your behalf. An LPA allows a person of your choice to make financial, healthcare and welfare decisions on your behalf, based on instructions specified by you. In effect, this person can be your voice.

It may be that you never need it at all, so in some ways it can be seen as an insurance policy, buying you peace of mind.
