We would be delighted if you could join us for our seminar.
Safeguarding has never been more high profile and a wave of recent reports and inquiries have led to an intense spotlight on how faith-based organisations (FBOs) manage both recent and historic allegations of abuse.
We are delighted that our popular FBO Forum can return in person this Autumn to discuss and give guidance on these complex issues. Ben Collingwood, Adam McRae-Taylor and Gordon Reid from our Charities Team will cover the most recent developments and give practical insight on best practice in handling allegations.
We will cover how the domain of safeguarding has expanded from a focus on just children and vulnerable adults, the approach of the Charity Commission, lessons to be drawn from the on-going Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), the concept of “spiritual abuse” and more.
There will be plenty of time for questions and the seminar will be followed by drinks and canapés.
This event is aimed at faith-based organisations.
