About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a junior solicitor to join our experienced Real Estate Disputes team. The role will be based in Southampton. This would be a challenging and fast paced role and you would be involved in all aspects of property litigation, as well as supporting senior members of the team in more complex matters. As we are looking for a junior lawyer to join the team, full support and guidance will be provided by existing team members.
Key tasks will include:
- Managing a full case load of real estate dispute matters under supervision
- Increasing your personal profile to drive work into the department
- Assisting with marketing and business development for the department
What we look for:
We are looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience/aptitude for working on property litigation matters for a law firm or In-house
- Good drafting skills and attention to detail
- Good legal skills
- Personability – ability to engage/communicate effectively with clients and win confidence/trust
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and initiative
